Individual and collective articles on Keywen.com

From Keywen

Both individual and collective articles are allowed on Keywen.com.

The purpose of this rule is to allow Keywen authors to express their own opinions. Below are some formal definitions that protect this right of the authors.

The authors of Keywen article are all Keywen users, who ever edit this article (and had rights to do so). Every Keywen article is the intellectual property of its authors.

Main Author of Keywen article is the author who created this article and put his/her name at the top of the article at the time of creation.

Main author has an advantage in the decision-making process concerning the article. For example, Main Author can allow others to edit the article or not. Also Main Author has the right to delete edits of other users. Main Author is the manager of collaborative writing process. The role of Main Author is similar to the role of blog owners or project managers.

Individual article is an article that has one Main Author.

Collective article is an article that has several Main Authors.

If at creation of Keywen article the Main Authors are not specified, such article is considered to be Open or Public.

Sometimes the articles of different authors can have the same title. In this case all these articles are published in the same page (the hosting page).

It can happen that there are too many articles with the same title and there is not enough space on one hosting page for all of them. In this case:

  • all these articles are moved to another pages with new longer names (synonyms)
  • only quotes from these articles are published in the main hosting page
  • links are made from the hosting page to full versions of the articles.

Similar reductions of articles are often used in the main pages of newspapers and Internet portals.
